The district vice president of the department is Susie Strom. The WRJ manager is Lindsay Bellows. WRJ manager Rachel Jurisz works with Judaica Shops. Judaica Shop chair Phyllis Winski serves our sisterhoods as a resource for developing and maintaining shops within our congregations. She, along with WRJ, has information on where to purchase product for your shops. Not only do the shops serve as a fundraising source, they are a service to our communities as a place to purchase Judaica. In smaller Jewish communities, they may be the only source of Judaica products. World Union/ARZA chair Laurel Zulliger is knowledgeable about the World Union for Progressive Judaism and ARZA enabling her to make sisterhoods aware of how we support the Progressive Jewish Movement throughout the world and in Israel. She can provide ideas for sisterhoods to support and educate their members about the important work being done by these organizations that are under the umbrella of URJ. YES Fund/ Circle of Service chair Marci Delson serves as an important resource to help sisterhoods support the important work of the YES Fund. Through contributions to the fund from sisterhoods, we ensure the future of the Reform Movement for our children and grandchildren. Information on what the money raised by the YES Fund supports and how individual sisterhoods can raise money for the YES Fund, including holding a YES Fund event, is available through this department. To request information from any of the chairs; send an email under Contact Us. |
