The WRJ Central District vice president is Michele Simpson and the WRJ manager is Rachel Jurisz. Leadership Development chair, Andrea Ludwig, works to help sisterhoods develop and retain their leadership through program ideas and group building activities. Membership chair Marci Carron works to help sisterhoods increase and maintain membership levels through various programs and provides outreach ideas to prospective members in their congregations. Having a large membership base can decrease the workload on each individual in your sisterhood and enable you to continue building new leaders for the future.New Affilaites chair Sheliah Abrahamson-Miles attracts new affiliate sisterhoods to the district and WRJ and works with them after they become members of the WRJ family. A prospective sisterhood must belong to the URJ affiliated congregation. Speaker’s Bureau chair, Patty Rehfus, arranges visits from district speakers for sisterhoods. Speakers can help with board orientations, leadership development, YES Fund events and installations. Speakers’ costs are paid for by the district and are a perk of your district dues.
